The Springwood Bowling Club uses Facebook as a medium where members can post information relevant to the Club’s activities or, interesting articles about the lawn bowls in general. Be aware that the FB page is “public” and anyone can see who's in the group and what they post.
Using the Facebook site
To access the Club's Facebook site you need to have or create a FB account. In creating the account you need, at a minimum, to supply; first name, last name, valid email address, password, gender, birth date, and you have to agree to the terms and conditions of the site. Also, be aware there is no way to set FB to an anonymous state but you can adjust your FB privacy settings to make your profile less obvious. Once you have joined FB, navigate to the Springwood Bowls FB page and simply click the "Join" button.
As stated, FB is for general posts about the Club and there is no compulsion to join. All important Club information, including details about upcoming events will be made available through Team App.
